For years I have vacillated in my opinion of BHO. Sometimes I think he is just stupid, arrogant, and incompetent and on the other, he is purposely trying to destroy America. There is a third choice and this now is my new opinion. He is both.
The recent announcement of a prisoner swap of five of the most despicable members of the Al Qaeda and Taliban prisoners being held at Gitmo for an American hostage Bowe Bergdahl who deserted his post in Afghanistan and somehow found his way into the hands of the Taliban five years ago. The excuse is that we leave no one behind. Unfortunately. though that is often true on the battlefield, it is not so true in reality. There were soldiers left behind in Korea and there still may be some that were left behind for good at the end of the war in Viet Nam.
The key question, as to what has turned into another scandal, is why. Conventional thinking is that this was to deflect criticism of the on going VA scandal by producing a feel good moment for this American hostage. Being unconventional, I beg to differ from all of this. I think that BHO knew that the way the whole exchange was handled would be welcomed with not much enthusiasm, but with controversy. In fact, he welcomed it. The VA scandal is not going away. There are too many investigations and the criminal activity is so wide spread that it will take months for it to unfold. Instead, last Friday the regime announced a whole new series of devastating regulations against coal and America using the "big lie" of Global Warming. Despite these terrible regulations that will significantly further depress the economy. double electric bills, and put millions, yes millions, of Americans out of work, BHO is continuing with his war on America. The far left and some stupid far left billionaire welcome these regs. For certain Fox News would be all over this story if it weren't for the swap and all of the terrible mistakes the regime made. Clearly Bergdahl will be tried in military court as a deserter and put in prison. He has served his purpose. Look for BHO pardoning him as his abominable regime comes to an end sticking his tongue out at America once more.
Its timing was the only thing that the regime got right. It is not a feel good moment. BHO did not give the Senate its legally required thirty day notice. Administration liar Susan Rice and denier Jay Carney dutifully did their jobs and the criminal Harry Reid is about the only Democrat who supports the regime on this issue, trying to turn it into political propaganda, ignoring the obvious. Communists like Van Jones, now employed by the Center for American Progress also supported BHO.
Sadly, this scandal seems to have legs that are manufactured by the liberal media. Its almost as if they go the word to continue to talk about this so people will ignore the regulations. Its time to go after the real threat to America, the "big lie" of Global Warming.

I bet you didn't know this about Beghazi, the real story
On Monday February 10, 2014, I went to Mo's Deli in Aventura to hear a talk by Shoshana Bryan of the Jewish Policy Center. Ms. Bryan analysis is always spot on and I have learned a lot about foreign policy by following her column and that is why I went to hear her. After her presentation, she took questions for about a half hour and one of the question I posed was "tell me something about Benghazi that I don't know." Her reply answered my question and explained why Benghazi occurred and why the regime has been slow (and I'm being generous using the word slow) in investigating and reporting what and why it happened and why the cover up continues.
Her explanation centered around Stinger missiles. Stinger missiles can be carried by a single person and allow that person to bring down an aircraft. American military aircraft have a defensive system that can protect them from stingers, but civilian aircraft do not and so the stinger is a great terror weapon that can not only down civilian aircraft, but as a result close airports. Stingers were given to the Muhajideen in Afghanistan to fight the Russians and after we invaded Afghanistan, we paid as much as $100,000 per missile to recover those that remained so they would not be used against us. As many as 20,000 of these missiles were missing in Libya and apparently began showing up in the hands of the rebels in Syria. Although the rebels have been using these against Syrian aircraft, at least two Turkish aircraft have been shot down. The US has been quiescently supplying the rebels in Syria with weapons shipped from Libya through Turkey to the rebels in Syria. As the civil war in Syria has progressed, much of the fighting has been taken over by jihadists including Al Qada and its affiliates from all over the Muslim world, all wanting to overthrow Bashir Assad and replace him with a jihadist type government.
The Russians are deathly afraid that some of these stingers will wind up in the hands of Chechans, fighting with the rebels and then carried back to Chechnya and used as a terror weapon against Russian civilian aircraft and even close Moscow's civilian airport.
Why was Ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi? He was meeting with the Turkish consul general over controlling arms shipments to the rebels, especially the smuggling of Stingers. The meeting was held in Benghazi rather than Tripoli, because of the clandestine nature of these shipments. Shortly after the meeting ended and the Turkish consul general has left, the terrorist attacks began. Al Qada affiliates, who obviously want Stingers and heavy armaments to continue, were behind the attacks.
We all know about what followed and the lies the regime told, blaming it on an obscure anti Islamic video. It also wasn't a couple of guys who'd had a few beers and decided to go kill some Americans. It was a group of well armed terrorists wanting to protect the flow of Stingers and heavy weapons to Syrian rebels and beyond. Not only did the regime want to support the myth that Al Qada was on the run to win a presidential election, but it did not want the public to know about the weapons going to Syria, especially the Stingers.

Christie vs Obama and this blogger pats himself on the back
I'm patting myself on the back for this one. As I predicted in a recent blog, now that Governor Chris Christie took the lead from Hillary Clinton in a potential presidential poll, the left and mainstream media will do their best to discredit him. This week we learned that Christie is involved in a terrible political scandal. Two high ranking political allies decided to punish commuters going from Ft. Lee New, Jersey to Manhattan via the George Washington Bridge by limiting access for no apparent reason. The was in response to the Mayor Sokolich of Ft. Lee not endorsing Governor Christie in the recent gubernatorial election. A day after he learned of this, Gov. Christie gave a news conference in which he claim he had no knowledge of this, but took responsibility and fired his chief of staff Bridgette Kelly and broke ties with his campaign manager, both long time political allies. He also apologized to the Mayor of Ft. Lee and the people of New Jersey. Ft. Lee Mayor Sokolich accepted his apology. Though reprehensible, this political vengeance was not criminal (though it borders on it). Showing real leadership, Christie acted swiftly in firing those responsible and taking responsibility. With this story about to loose it legs and only 24 hours later, the Justice Department has appointed an attorney who is an Obama campaign contributor to investigate and bring charges. In addition he is now being investigated for misusing Hurricane Sandy funds to produce an advertisement promoting the Jersey Shore being open for business. He claims this use had been approved.
Compare this to Obama, who had to face the IRS targeting scandal of Tea Party, Christain, and other conservative groups seeking tax exempt status. Political targeting by the IRS is strictly forbidden and criminal. As usual the regime claimed no knowledge and at first claimed it was some low level employees in the Cincinnati office. A congressional investigation uncovered involvement at a higher and broader level stretching all the way to Washington, DC and White House attorneys and maybe beyond. Lois Lerner, department head, pleaded her fifth amendment right after giving a lengthy speech denying any responsibility. Though initially given a raise in salary and a promotion to run part of Obamacare, she has since been placed on paid administrative leave. Obama promised an investigation but it took eight months to appoint an attorney in the Justice Department, Barbara Bosserman, another Obama campaign contributor, to head the investigation. This appears to be asking the fox to guard the hen house. Instead, an independent consul should be appointed and criminal indictments should be forthcoming. The regime has used the Justice Department to stymie congressional investigations, much as President Clinton did to prevent an indictment of recently elected Virginia Governor and Clinton ally Terry McAuliffe (he cosigned on the Clinton's mortgage), who was behind a money laundering scheme to illegally send union contributions to the Clinton campaign in 1996. Union official were indicted, convicted, and sent to prison, but Janet Reno prevented McAuliffe from testifying before Congress saying he was under investigation and couldn't respond to congressional inquiries. No results of an investigation have ever been forth coming, if there was really an investigation. This quietly died when Bush became President and his Justice Department had no interest in pursuing the matter. Incredulously, Obama had the Justice Department investigate itself in the "Fast and Furious " scandal. Investigation into the American deaths during the consulate attacks in Benghazi have been exceedingly slow or virtually non existent hoping by the regime that these scandals would go away by themselves with the help of a sympathetic mainstream media. No one seems to be responsible for these scandals and the mainstream media is not pressing for accountability even though at Benghazi and "fast and furious", American lives and been lost. Obama has taken a page out of the Clinton playbook when Filegate, White Watergate, irregularities around Vince Foster's suicide, and Clinton's treason in allowing bundler Bernie Schwartz to sell Loral's missile guidance technology to the communist Chinese armyfor an illegal campaign contribution of $20,000,000. Though Judge Kenneth Starr was appointed chief independent consul for some of this activity, he generously gave first lady Hillary Clinton a pass on her perjured deposition testimony, declaring "I don't remember" over one hundred times (Scooter Libby went to prison for saying it once during his deposition).
As far as political vengeance is concerned, the Obama regime disgracefully and unnecessarily closed national parks and the Veteran Memorial, and then had the audacity of blaming it on Republicans. A duplicitous mainstream media actually attempted to support this ridiculous claim. The words "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" are not part of Obama's vocabulary. That would not be in keeping with Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, Obama's handbook and political guide.
Speaking of political vengeance, we have recently learned of Hillary Clinton's enemies list. Senator Claire McCaskill, Sec. of State John Kerry, and Ted Kennedy were all rated top enemies with a rating of 7. Friends were rated a 1. It should be no surprise that politicians have a list of friends and enemies in order to grant or deny favors, but Hillary's list, that was compiled by long term political advisor to both Clinton and certifiable sleaze ball Kris Balderstrom, was on an Excel spread shee,t rating each episode to arrive at a final rating and often listing an unfortunate event befalling these enemies. For example, Ted Kennedy's death served as a source for gloating. What was not reported was that Bill Clinton also had an enemies list, just as detailed as Hillary's. Knowledge of this and details of Filegate leads me to suspect that political blackmail has taken place during the Clinton regime. If you recall, Filegate involved the FBI files of 1000 prominent Republicans including senators and congressman. According to the Clintons, these file were accidentally brought to the White House when candidates for political appointments were being screened, but never examined by his staff. These files were guarded by a marine and a log had to be signed when a file was checked out and brought back. The pages of the log book containing this information while the files were at the White House disappeared just before this story broke, so no one could tell if the regime was telling the truth. Now fast forward to Clinton's second term when he was impeached by the House Republicans, but cleared by the Senate. All of the key ranking Republicans in the House responsible the impeachment resigned or did not run for office again over relatively minor scandals involving cheating on their spouses It is my contention that they were informed of more embarrassing revelations would be forth coming unless they left the House, in other words, they were blackmailed based on information obtained years earlier from their FBI files. Might be interesting to question the marine guards if they are still alive or haven't been paid off.

More on Global Warming, Obamacare, and The Minimum Wage
There is so much going with Global Warming, Obamacare, and the the minimum wage, that I decided to publish another blog. Everyday Liberalism and the left's lies are being exposed, to the points were libs can only tell more lies that have to be termed ridiculous, only believable by the dumb, dumber, and uninformed.
This current story has to fall into the "you just can't make this up" category. In December a group of eco-science people wanted to travel to Antarctica to study the effects of global warming on Antarctic ice, believing that is receding (it is not and is at record levels). Remember it is summer in Antarctica now when the surrounding ice should be at its lowest level during the year. Their ship got marooned in ice. Two ice breakers, one Chinese and the other Australian flagged, tried to rescue them, but were unsuccessful in their attempts to break through the ice. Eventually they were rescued by helicopter. Now an American Coast Guard ice breaker, capable of breaking through ice thirty feet thick, has been dispatched to rescue the Chinese ice breaker that has become encased in ice and is in danger of being crushed. Wonder what these global warming scientists will say to explain the Antarctic ice that apparently hasn't melted.

The other global warming story is even more laughable. As most of you know, the central and eastern part of the United States is experiencing record cold temperatures (while I'm lounging about in a toasty 80 degrees in Miami). The global warming lunatics have the nerve to attribute this to global warming slowing down the jet stream, allowing this blast of extremely cold arctic air to more farther south than usual. If man made global warming is responsible, why in a few days would the temperature get warmer, especially since people are going to be burning more coal and gas to stay warm? These junk scientists would have been better off saying that if it weren't for global warming it would be much colder or maybe George Bush turned on his weather machine, the same one according to crapper Kanya West, that caused Hurricaine Katrina to strike New Orleans, or maybe it was Mr. Freeze from the Batman movies. As I have reported in previous blogs, anthropogenic global warming is nothing more than a hoax to transfer wealth from both individuals and wealthy countries to governments and poor countries. Lurch, I mean our pompous Secretary of State John Kerry is attempting to set up some sort of Global warming world wide organization. Last year the Obama regime transferred $5,000,000,000 of your tax dollar to Africa to combat global warming even though the earth has been getting cooler for 17 years in a row. This is a total waste, as is giving money to nearly every African nation for any reason.
The insurance companies are upset because Obamacare negates their ability to establish realistic rates and plans and unless this Ponzi scheme tricks healthy young adults into signing up and paying exorbitant rates with exorbitant deductibles, the insurance companies are going to face serious losses of income. But don't weep for them as rooted in the deepest bowels of Obamacare is a bailout for the insurance companies should they loose money, of course, at tax payer expense.
Obama and Obamacare continue the war on Catholics. The Little Sisters of the Poor, is an order of nuns dedicated to providing aid and comfort to the dying though hospice care. They do not want to pay for health insurance that supplies benefits that they know opposes their theology. It is very unlikely that an elderly nun will need maternity and birth control benefits. Furthermore, the cost of Obamacare to their order would be more than three million dollars that would end much of their charitable works. Interestingly, Obama appointee Judge Sonia Sotomayor, who is a Catholic, granted the stay requested by the nuns .

On a much more positive note, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson has filed a law suit against the regime for abusing executive authority, because of all the changes that have been made by the regime to Obamacare. Only the legislative branch could make those changes. One of the changes he sites are that staffs of the senators have been granted subsidies. The staff member involved make between $70,000 and 160,000, well above the level of subsidy eligibility for we common folk. Senators are not small business nor is the Senate a small business. The Senate is part of government and senators elected government workers. The suit has been filed in Wisconsin far way from the Washington, DC circuit, that has been packed by Obama with leftist activist judges. It will certainly be interesting to see where this suit winds up. Maybe the Supreme Court will have another opportunity to atone for its failure to end Obamacare.

Several states, including California, already drowning in debt, have already raised the minimum wage not understanding what effect it will have on the economy, especially the people it alleges to help. Only about 2.7% of workers are making the minimum wage and at least 50% of those are between 18 and 24 years old. Government should stay out of the minimum wage and allow free markets to determine the minimum wage. For example, MacDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's are all competitive franchises. The skill level of employees is very similar. If one is paying $5/hr and another $7/hr, people seeking an entry level job are going to apply to the business offering a higher wage and better benefits. The business paying the lowest wages will wind up with the worst employees and more employee turnover, as after they receive their training they may find their experience permits them to move on to a better opportunity elsewhere. Having rapid employee turnover is bad for business and forces wages and/or benefits to be improved in order to lessen turnover and get better employee. In fact the other business may do the same if it suddenly finds its employees moving over to a competitor or to another type of business like Walmart or Target that may offer even better wages and benefits, using the fast food experience as a positive work experience item on their resume. When government steps in and mandates an artificial minimum wage, it fails to note the damage. Businessmen faced with a loss of profit due to wages may choose to fire some workers. cut hours, and/or cut benefits as has happened with Obamacare. Remaining employees will be required to work harder and less overtime will become available. In order to preserve profits, the price of a Big Mac or Whopper will rise. The wealthy who may want some fast food will not be affected, but the poor, who frequently consumes it, will be effected and the purchasing power of their minimum wage salary will go down. Governments have never been very good at managing the economy and should just stay out of it. Let free markets do their job.
But the real reason for raising the minimum wage has little to do with the workers. As usual just follow the money. For every dollar that the government raises the minimum wage, it will collect $.153 in Social Security and Medicare taxes which means more money to waste and spend. Even if he pays no income taxes, a minimum wage worker would only get $.9235 for every dollar. The employer would be out an additional $.0765. This would amount to more than $600,000,000 in addition or about $5,000,000,000 total for all minimum wage workers. I'm certain Harry Reid or Barak Obama could find some worthless endeavor to spend it.

Government should stay out of the minimum wage and allow free markets to determine the minimum wage. For example, MacDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's are all competitive franchises. The skill level of employees is very similar. If one is paying $5/hr and another $7/hr, people seeking an entry level job are going to apply to the business offering a higher wage and better benefits. The business paying the lowest wages will wind up with the worst employees and more employee turnover, as after they receive their training they may find their experience permits them to move on to a better opportunity elsewhere. Having rapid employee turnover is bad for business and forces wages and/or benefits to be improved in order to lessen turnover and get better employee. In fact the other business may do the same if it suddenly finds its employees moving over to a competitor or to another type of business like Walmart or Target that may offer even better wages and benefits, using the fast food experience as a positive work experience item on their resume. When government steps in and mandates an artificial minimum wage, it fails to note the damage. Businessmen faced with a loss of profit due to wages may choose to fire some workers. cut hours, and/or cut benefits as has happened with Obamacare. Remaining employees will be required to work harder and less overtime will become available. In order to preserve profits, the price of a Big Mac or Whopper will rise. The wealthy who may want some fast food will not be affected, but the poor, who frequently consumes it, will be effected and the purchasing power of their minimum wage salary will go down. Governments have never been very good at managing the economy and should just stay out of it. Let free markets do their job.
But the real reason for raising the minimum wage has little to do with the workers. As usual just follow the money. For every dollar that the government raises the minimum wage, it will collect $.153 in Social Security and Medicare taxes which means more money to waste and spend. Even if he pays no income taxes, a minimum wage worker would only get $.9235 for every dollar. The employer would be out an additional $.0765. This would amount to more than $600,000,000 in addition or about $5,000,000,000 total for all minimum wage workers. I'm certain Harry Reid or Barak Obama could find some worthless endeavor to spend it.

Looking Back At 2013 and Ahead to 2014
First I'd like to wish all of you a happy New Year. Putting up with Obama in 2013 was bad, but at least people are starting realize what a traitor and monster he is. I know its been awhile since I last posted a blog and there is so much going on, but that is exactly the reason why I have not posted. Events are changing so fast that by the time I could write something up, a slew of new info has become available. This blog will cover a number of topics that need to be updated.
Obviously, the thing that concerns us the most is Obamacare. There, I said it and so I guess I'm a racist just like Obama, who seemed to have at one time liked the term. I suppose Moochelle is a racist too, as she recently used the term in an ad telling people to discuss it while their family is having Christmas dinner. I know this is exactly what people want to talk about while trying to enjoy family and friends on what should be a joyous holiday. As I have stated in previous blogs, it was a political necessity that Obamacare did not really kick in until after the 2012 election year, because Obama would never have been reelected on what I knew then and what the general public knows now. The 2700 pages of crap called the Afforable Care Act was really a "document dump". It was too long to read before passage and as witch Nancy has said "you have to pass the bill to find out what's in it." As we are discovering this horror story written by Zeke Emmanuel and the commies at the Center for American Progress is a road map for the destruction of America, especially the American middle-class. Of course Obama lied. He lies about everything except wanting to fundamentally change America. He just never said publicly what he wanted to change America to. Privately those who have followed this leftist America hater, knew all along he wanted to change America from a thriving capitalist economy, to a failed socialist or communist one. The good news is there are some cracks in his plan starting to appear. The failed web site was a good start, but some States, notably South Carolina and Georgia have rejected Obamacare all together using the rights granted states in the 10th Amendment. Obamacare may not be available in those states, though look for Eric Holder to file a law suit and request an injunction that will find its way to the Supreme Court. If the court refused to allow an injunction stopping South Carolina and Georgia, I look for more states to follow. Meanwhile Obamacare slowly and nefariously creeps on. With the midterm elections scheduled for November of 2014, Obama has moved the date when the employer mandate is supposed to kick in from October 15, 2014 to November 15, 2014 conveniently after the elections. Do you think by then it will really matter? Seventy to one hundred million Americans, mostly middle class, are going to loose their health care coverage. Still some Democrats support this "obamanation." I hope the Dummy Wasserman-Schultz and Nancy Pelosi try to run on this. With all the changes that Obama has made, Republicans ought to ask the courts to either declare this law null and void, or force Obama to implement the law the way it is written without all the exceptions granted to pals and friends and the delays in implementation for political purposes. Constitutionally, on Congress can change the law.
Only 1.1 million Americans have signed up for Obamacare on healthcare.gov, 1/3 of the expected 3.3 million. Of those who have signed up, many questions remain, and the regimes has not been forth coming with the answers. How many have paid? How many are getting subsidies? How many are healthy young people? I suspect Obama is hiding the fact that most of those that have signed up are those with preexisting conditions or those with a very significant subsidy. He likes to tout how many have health insurance for the first time, but unfortunately more have lost it than have obtained it. Few healthy young adults have signed up. Being a wealth redistribution program, not a healthcare program, Obamacare needs healthy young adults to sign up and pay exorbitant rates in order to fund Obamacare and in reality confiscates hard earned money. Confiscation of wealth and assets is the most important weapon in the communist and socialist armamentarium. A healthy 28 year old man, if he is stupid enough to throw his money away, should be elated that his one size fits all insurance policy includes pediatric dental care, prenatal and pregnancy care, and free female exams. Likewise a healthy adult female is excited to have testicular cancer and prostatitis as covered entities. In reality Obamacare is not insurance. Insurance companies base their rates on actuary determined statistics of events that are possible, not those that aren't. Not being able to base a rate on preexisting conditions, further skews what will be paid and ruins what should be actuary sound rates.

The "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" lie covers even Medicare recipients (I know its hard to believe that i'm old enough to be on Medicare). My doctor has decided, rather than face the onslaught of radical changes to the practice of Medicine, he retired from his busy practice. Just to let you know, I closed my own private practice of both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery shortly after the passage of the ACA and now work as an independent contractor, performing only cosmetic surgery and no longer using my experience and skill in reconstructive surgery.

She has expanded the issues for which she is"concerned", making her an "expert" on a number of topics. She got her job with the Rose Law Firm because her husband was attorney general and later governor of Arkansas. Her experience as first lady was terrible as she was involved in a number of scandals with her husband regime, failure of Hillarycare, and her characterization by the media as a victim due to Bill's cheating. As a carpet bagging New York senator, her only accomplishments were the naming of six or seven New York post offices, and as a totally inexperienced diploma and Secretary of State, her term was one of the worst in decades with the Benghazi debacle, the failure to stop Iran from moving toward a nuclear weapon, and support for Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Liar Elizabeth Warren, now recently elected Massachusetts US Senator, is also being considered as a presidential candidate. She claimed to be an American Indian in order to get affirmative action consideration. She has no resume at all.
As you know we have Obama phones, Obamacare, and Obama EBT cards, so look for Obama gas cards in the near future, alleging that the poor need to drive their work...as if they have a job. Isn't it troubling that they are against Christians and Jews, but not Muslims. Get off your behinds and run for school board if you care about how your children are being educated. Look at the text books your children bring home or have on their laptops and complain if what you find is inappropriate. At the college level, there is even more concern, not only because of liberal and radical leftist professors, but with the cost of education. Why has education become so expensive? The ever increasing cost of college and graduate school can be directly attributed the student loan program, now totally controlled by the regime under Obama. By making guaranteed loans available to just about anyone, colleges have no incentives to control costs. Everyone from professors to janitors are being paid much more, much more than they deserve. Since well paying jobs have not been forth coming under Obama, the default rate is increasing rapidly and may be the next bubble that bursts. Hope and pray that your children and grandchildren will not need loans. Knowing how Obama politicizes everything, as with healthcare, political affiliation may mean more than need in obtaining a student loan.
The piece of toilet paper, better known as the New York Times, Has unsuccessfully tried to whitewash the Benghazi scandal in order to protect potential presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who was directly responsible for what happened, allowing four Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens to be murdered by radical Islamists affiliated with Al Qaida. They tried to blame the stupid movie that no one ever saw. The Times story seems to contradict all the evidence that has been compiled, even that which has been difficult to obtain as the regime has made eye witnesses sign non disclosure agreements in order to protect itself. Bottom line, Clinton failed to increase security before the attack, despite evidence of an impending attack, failed to send help and made available help stand down, covered up the reason for the attack and who was responsible. On the night of the attack, Clinton and Obama were more concerned with political issues and getting a good night's sleep.
Obama continues to attempt to usurp Amendment II rights. He wants states to send the government lists of registered gun owners, as if this is going to end gun violence. Washington, DC has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, requiring long guns and hand guns to be registered. Yet it has one of the highest murder rates. Criminals don't register guns. So why register them? If and when Obama declares martial law, he will know where to find them. Only the criminals will have guns. Imagine this scenario, a riot occurs in one of our large cities, with looting, burning, and shooting of innocent civilians and first responders. The government comes in a seizes weapons from innocent civilians using this an excuse. Now innocent civilians will be unable to protect themselves from the rioters. Why seize weapons from innocent civilians? The most obvious reason is for a government seizure by the Obama regime. The Amendment II was given its high status in order to allow citizens to protect themselves from the government.
My last item is one of those "you just can't make this stuff up". The California Supreme Court has ruled that and illegal alien, Sergio Garcia, who managed to obtain a law degree can be licensed in California, despite a Federal Law banning illegal aliens from obtaining professional government licenses. This has some interesting and ironic consequences. In Florida as in most states, an applicant to the Bar, is required to submit personal information in regard to any criminal background and admission to the Bar can be denied on that basis. The California Supreme Court has determined that being in America illegally and violating immigration laws is a felony that they choose to ignore. Illegal aliens who are by definition criminals now have more rights than felons who are American citizens.

Obamacare Update
Things have been happening so quickly, that I think it is necessary to add to my most recent blog.
I'm sure you are all aware that Obama knowing lied to America about keeping doctors and health plans. The political aides in the White House convinced him to ignore the policy aides who told him that these claims were not true. He must lie to win elections for Democrats and his own election in 2012. Now he claims that he really didn't say it. Please, Mr. Obama please stop lying to us even though you are so good at it. This lie just doesn't cut it. Even the feigned apology doesn't work, as there is little he can do help the people he lied to short of delaying the individual mandate, until congress can act to amend all the problems and unintended and intended consequences. As I've said before the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) really isn't affordable, and doesn't care about Americans, but it is certainly an act. All that Obama and the Democrats have claimed is just an act. This feigned apology is just an act. He will do nothing for individual Americans.
He called his health care plans superior and the previous plans that people liked bad plans. I guess every man wants prenatal and maternity care benefits on their health insurance policy. The latest baloney that Obama and his tool Debbie Wasserman-Schultz are lying that it is the insurance company's fault. They could have had those policies grandfathered in. This of course is another blatant lie. Previous policies could only be grandfathered, if they contained all the benefits that are part of Obamacare. For example, I don't think any policy included prenatal and maternity benefits for a 60 year old man or woman. Most people choose policies that offer benefits that fit their needs, not the cookie cutter one size fits all of Obamacare.
When people go on other web sites, as healthcare.gov is still not functioning, to get an idea about what their costs will be, the web sites are low balling the public. An adult male age 27 to 50 will be given the cost for a 27 year old that will be far less than a 49 year old. The same thing applies for those over 50. They are given a quote for a 50 year old. The increased cost is only one aspect, the huge associated deductibles sometimes as much as $25,000 increases what heath care cost will be.
Unions and big business, major campaign contributors, have been given waivers and those waivers especially for the unions will continue even past 2018, when the "cadillac" tax of 40% on a policy over $10,000 kicks in. An annual policy costing $10,000 or more is not unrealistic for the average 60 year old individual or union retiree.
On Wednesday HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testified that some convicted felons may have been hired as navigators. When you hire ACORN and SEIU trash, what do you expect. Why would anyone want to give their financial information to a convicted felon? In Delaware navigators have helped 4 people sign up for Obamacare in October at a cost of $350,000. That means it cost over $85,000 per enrollee.
The navigators are also doing something that is illegal, but encouraged by Obama and the Democrat Party. They are recruiting and registering people that they deal with as Democrat voters. Since they have been hired as navigators by the government they have to appear politically neutral in their government job. Fat chance of that with ACORN and the SEIU. Since they get $58 per enrollee, I wonder how many dead people will sign up for benefits, after all Social Security pays almost $2 billion in benefits to dead people (not the $250 death benefit)
One of the issues that Obama used to sell Obamacare was "fairness". Is it fair that millions of hard working American should loose their insurance so that a bunch of drug users, welfare recipients, and those who are just plain lazy and don't work get health insurance? A plan for the working poor and those with pre existing conditions could have been worked out and cost a tiny fraction of the more than $2 trillion Obamacare is expected to cost,
We have also learned that many doctors have either opted out, been excluded from plans, or retiring early, limiting patient choice of primary care physicians and specialists. Hospitals are also not accepting Obamacare care patients. The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio will only accept Ohio residents with Mutual of Ohio Health insurance. The reason is that reimbursement from Obamacare patients will be a losing proposition just as it may be for doctors.
Finally, Ive saved the worst for last, military families will have to pay more for their benefits. Families most deserving of health insurance are going to be limited.
This week sixteen Democrat senators went to visit Obama with a closed door session. Fifteen of the senators are up for reelection and the sixteenth was the senator in charge of the Democrat senate reelection campaign. They were complaining that Obamacare is ruining their reelection chances. Some have advocated delaying the tax, delaying the mandate, and extending the enrollment period, but none for repealing it or modifying it, but even so Obama was not very sympathetic. Let's hope that all fifteen senators loose to a Republican so that there are majorities in both houses, maybe enough to repeal Obamacare, or at least derail his destructive plan for America.

I'm sure you are all aware that Obama knowing lied to America about keeping doctors and health plans. The political aides in the White House convinced him to ignore the policy aides who told him that these claims were not true. He must lie to win elections for Democrats and his own election in 2012. Now he claims that he really didn't say it. Please, Mr. Obama please stop lying to us even though you are so good at it. This lie just doesn't cut it. Even the feigned apology doesn't work, as there is little he can do help the people he lied to short of delaying the individual mandate, until congress can act to amend all the problems and unintended and intended consequences. As I've said before the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) really isn't affordable, and doesn't care about Americans, but it is certainly an act. All that Obama and the Democrats have claimed is just an act. This feigned apology is just an act. He will do nothing for individual Americans.
He called his health care plans superior and the previous plans that people liked bad plans. I guess every man wants prenatal and maternity care benefits on their health insurance policy. The latest baloney that Obama and his tool Debbie Wasserman-Schultz are lying that it is the insurance company's fault. They could have had those policies grandfathered in. This of course is another blatant lie. Previous policies could only be grandfathered, if they contained all the benefits that are part of Obamacare. For example, I don't think any policy included prenatal and maternity benefits for a 60 year old man or woman. Most people choose policies that offer benefits that fit their needs, not the cookie cutter one size fits all of Obamacare.
When people go on other web sites, as healthcare.gov is still not functioning, to get an idea about what their costs will be, the web sites are low balling the public. An adult male age 27 to 50 will be given the cost for a 27 year old that will be far less than a 49 year old. The same thing applies for those over 50. They are given a quote for a 50 year old. The increased cost is only one aspect, the huge associated deductibles sometimes as much as $25,000 increases what heath care cost will be.
Unions and big business, major campaign contributors, have been given waivers and those waivers especially for the unions will continue even past 2018, when the "cadillac" tax of 40% on a policy over $10,000 kicks in. An annual policy costing $10,000 or more is not unrealistic for the average 60 year old individual or union retiree.
On Wednesday HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testified that some convicted felons may have been hired as navigators. When you hire ACORN and SEIU trash, what do you expect. Why would anyone want to give their financial information to a convicted felon? In Delaware navigators have helped 4 people sign up for Obamacare in October at a cost of $350,000. That means it cost over $85,000 per enrollee.
The navigators are also doing something that is illegal, but encouraged by Obama and the Democrat Party. They are recruiting and registering people that they deal with as Democrat voters. Since they have been hired as navigators by the government they have to appear politically neutral in their government job. Fat chance of that with ACORN and the SEIU. Since they get $58 per enrollee, I wonder how many dead people will sign up for benefits, after all Social Security pays almost $2 billion in benefits to dead people (not the $250 death benefit)
One of the issues that Obama used to sell Obamacare was "fairness". Is it fair that millions of hard working American should loose their insurance so that a bunch of drug users, welfare recipients, and those who are just plain lazy and don't work get health insurance? A plan for the working poor and those with pre existing conditions could have been worked out and cost a tiny fraction of the more than $2 trillion Obamacare is expected to cost,
We have also learned that many doctors have either opted out, been excluded from plans, or retiring early, limiting patient choice of primary care physicians and specialists. Hospitals are also not accepting Obamacare care patients. The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio will only accept Ohio residents with Mutual of Ohio Health insurance. The reason is that reimbursement from Obamacare patients will be a losing proposition just as it may be for doctors.
Finally, Ive saved the worst for last, military families will have to pay more for their benefits. Families most deserving of health insurance are going to be limited.

My View on Obamacare Updated
I'm sure you all have been anxiously waiting for what I have to say about Obamacare, especially with all the problems it has been having. Wanting to get my research straight, I have taken my time and hopefully my analysis will not disappoint, but every time I get ready to publish this blog something new has comes up, causing me to review and revise to be up to date and on the cutting edge.
The serious problems with the Obamacare web site are actually a diversion from what the real problems are with this destructive program. As you all know this web site was rolled out without being throughly tested. It is a product of a no bid contract given to a company, CGI Federal, an American subsidiary of CGI, a Canadian company, whose fulfillment of government contracts has been less than stellar. How this company was chosen is a mystery to most, but it is of some interest that a buddy of Moochelle's was brought into the company and given the lofty title of Senior Vice President. The woman, Toni Townes-Whitley, goes back to Moochelle's Princeton days and belonged to the same Marxist on campus organizations, Third World Center and Organization of Black Unity. She also belongs to the Association of Black Princeton Alumni as does Moochelle. Her previous work experience consisted of a stint with the Peace Corp in Gabon, followed by a six year hiatus to raise a family. She rejoined the work force in 1998 and worked at Unisys until she moved on to CGI in 2010, that incidentally coincides with the time CGI's contract was awarded. Coincidence, you decide. The cost to you for this atrocity was over $600 million and climbing. It took Facebook 5 years to spend that much on its web site development. Obviously we have not gotten our money's worth. Its cost and failure are a typical example of any company that the regime has supported in its unethical policy of crony capitalism. Look at all of the so called green energy bankruptcies the regime has supported.
Even in the few instances where the web site has worked, it has ultimately been a failure. Only six people were able to enroll the first day. It got better, by day two, 245 had enrolled. At that rate it would take only 160 years to get the 17 million enrollee the regime says it needs. In order to satisfy the huge subsidies that the government is providing the poor and chronically ill, it has to overcharge young healthy people to succeed, but the only people signing up are for Medicaid, subsidies, or chronically ill with huge medical expenses. Well before the sign up date of October 1, the funding for those with preexisting conditions has been depleted. The young and healthy are deciding to pay the fine, or is it a tax, instead. I wonder if a nonparticipating insurance company could legally offer a plan outside Obamacare. The poor, drug addicted, lazy, and chronically ill will now get health insurance, while the young working middle class will loose theirs or pay for someone else's. This is a destroyer of the middle class and it was designed with that in mind. Marx realized that a strong middle class is a product of capitalism and must be eliminated in order for communism to have a chance. The group most effected by all of Obama's devastating policies is the middle class.

It turns out the major selling point for Obamacare, "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, if you like your insurance plan, you can keep your insurance plan", was a total lie. Obama was well aware that millions of American would loose their doctors and health insurance plans before he began pitching the Affordable Care Act three years ago, but realized that that it would be an even more difficult sell, if the truth were known. He has persisted in telling this lie in order to get elected in 2012 and then to avoid support for what the Republicans were trying to accomplish with the recent budget and debt limit battles. As more and more of what's in it comes to light, it will continue to become less and less popular for all of except those on Medicaid or with heavily subsidized plans. Insurance companies are dropping those with individual policies in droves. It is estimated that at least 17 million will loose the coverage that Obama promised they could keep by January 1, 2014 and 93 million more when the small business exemption ends. The explanation why this would happen was also somewhat obscured by the 2700 pages of the bill. As hypocrite Nancy Pelosi said, "you have to pass it in order to find out what's in it out what's in it"(in medical circles this describes Obamacare very accurately for this is also the definition of a stool sample). There is an insurance coverage mandate that every health insurance policy under the ACA must follow. Things like substance abuse rehabilitation, prenatal and pregnancy, and a number of other conditions and situations must be included in every plan. Do you think a healthy, non drug user, 60 year old man or woman is excited to learn that their new plan under Obamacare covers pregnancy and drug rehab or that any woman is covered for prostate and testicular cancer. This is because all policy holders have been mandated to be placed in a single pool with a one size fits all health care plan. Prior to Obamacare, most insurance plans had policies that subscribers could pick and choose from the plan that best fitted their needs. Obama has again lied and called these substandard plans, when, in fact, the basic Obamacare plan is the one that is substandard. In reality, the health insurance plans are the most regulated at the state level. If a plan was substandard, it would never have been approved at the state level. That most people liked their plans is irrelevant to Obama. Insurance companies use precise actuarial data to determine rates and this is best done by establishing a variety of risk pools in order to give people the best rate that fits their potential for healthcare needs. For example, age, sex, smoking habits, and preexisting conditions are only a few some of many factors. All of these factors have been thrown out the window, in order to get healthy people to pay for Obamacare. Of course, whenever government tries to intervene, personal freedom is thrown out the window. Most plans on Obamacare have huge premium and deductible increases. The people who have been lucky enough to have found plans costing only a little more than what they had paid before, have learned that these plans have massive deductibles, as much as $25.000. As I have posted in early blogs the ACA is not really a health care plan, but a wealth redistribution plan, so terrible that the people who chose it for you, namely Obama and the Democratic majority in Congress, refuse to be a part of it themselves. That says everything I need to know about Obamacare.
On more thing that has not even been mentioned lately is the tax on so called "Cadillac plans", as much as 40%, that will kick in a few years. The "Cadillac" plan threshold is $10,000 per individual. I can tell you that even before Obamacare, a policy for a 60 year old with a reasonable deductible is over the threshold that represents a monthly payment of $833. This is one of the reasons why the Labor Unions are so upset and why they were granted an exemption, because for many union retirees, the usual plan is worth more than $10,000. Look for Obama to eventually grant a permanent exemption for the unions' "Cadillac" plans after the 2014 congressional elections. By the way, all of these exemptions and exceptions are against the law and Obama is in violation of the Constitution. Does this constitute treason?
With the web site down, Obama has urged people to sign up over the phone, mail in paper forms, or deal with navigators, who just happen to be current and former ACORN workers. Unfortunately once the information is obtained, it needs to be entered into the same web site that is down. Only about 4000 people nation wide have been able to sign up this way since October 1 and as usual, they are mostly Medicaid and chronically ill enrollees.
I am also sure that you have happy to know that the information hub for the volumes of personal data, is also down and its security from hackers and others has come into question. Besides your personal health information, your social security number, and income information are at risk. How comfortable would you feel giving all of your personal information to an ACORN navigator, especially one who registered Mickey Mouse to vote. These people made hundreds of trips to the White House, allegedly related to Obamacare, and yet Obama says he knew nothing about the IRS scandal. Do you think that the buck stops at the door to the Oval Office? Do you think that the "death committee" decision to provide you with expensive life saving treatment may depend on your political persuasion and where you have made political contributions?
As usual, no one in the regime ever claims responsibility for any scandal or bad news affecting the regime and the Obama claims he was only informed after the fact and reading it in the news. If you believe this, he seems to know more about his tee time than what is going on within the regime. This means that Iranian born Valerie Jarret, David Axelrod, and maybe even George Soros are running the country.

Those in Washington, in all branches of government, both elected and appointed, have forgotten their original mission, that regardless of political party or ideological persuasion, they work for all of the citizens of the United States. All of the vendors responsible for the web site must have taken a lesson from Obama saying they were blameless and not responsible for what has gone wrong. The regime never takes responsibility, at first clumsily trying to blame Republicans. Maybe a video was responsible or the janitor that sweeps the floors at HHS, or just blame Bush. As Ms. Sebelius' (and Barak Obama's) employer, I would fire her for incompetence and Obama for lies for political advantage.
As I have mentioned in previous blogs, Obamacare is not really about healthcare, but about wealth redistribution, and with that in mind it is not only doomed, but also designed, to fail so that Obama can "rescue" us with a government controlled single payor system. If you think Obamacare is bad for your health,just wait for a single payor system. Doctors are retiring or electing not to be part of Obamacare. Finding a primary care physician will be more difficult and even more difficult to obtain specialty care. Long waits not only in the doctor's office. but for definitive care will be the rule. A single payor system will only speed this up. Medical Schools will no longer get applications from the brightest and the best and so the long term quality of healthcare will be diminished. Isn't it wonderful that in a few short years, Obama has destroyed the best healthcare system in the world? Like everything that Obama sets his mind to, Obamacare has turned into a "stool sample".
The Republicans made a terrible blunder trying to make such a long and fruitless battle recently against the funding of Obamacare. The way it is going, it will collapses under its own weight and Obamacare can be repealed if the scandal continues and the people vote out the scoundrels who passed this "obamanation" in the first place.

The Republicans made a terrible blunder trying to make such a long and fruitless battle recently against the funding of Obamacare. The way it is going, it will collapses under its own weight and Obamacare can be repealed if the scandal continues and the people vote out the scoundrels who passed this "obamanation" in the first place.
